Varo Universal Registry provides Varo Wallet — the system creates and manages a wallet for you automatically. If you prefer to hold your own Private Key, you can install MetaMask for free using this guide.
💬 Varo Wallet — The system creates and manages a wallet for you automatically. No installation needed. → Go to Varo Wallet
🦊 MetaMask — For users who want to hold their own Private Key and have full self-custody control over their wallet.
When you register a creation on Varo Universal Registry, the system mints an ERC-721 token on Polygon Blockchain and sends it to your wallet. Your wallet is essentially your "address for receiving registration records."
💡 You don't need to buy any crypto or deposit money into your wallet — Varo covers all blockchain gas fees. You only pay with Varo Keycoin.
MetaMask is the world's most popular crypto wallet with over 30 million users, developed by ConsenSys. It supports Desktop (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Brave) and Mobile (iOS, Android).
MetaMask acts as your Wallet Address to receive tokens the system mints for you — think of it as a "P.O. Box" for your digital registration records.
Visit metamask.io/download and click "Install MetaMask for Chrome" (or your browser). You'll be redirected to the Chrome Web Store.
Click "Add to Chrome" → Click "Add Extension" to confirm. Wait for installation. You'll see the fox icon 🦊 in the extension bar.
MetaMask opens a welcome page → Click "Create a new wallet" → Set a Password to lock the wallet on this device (at least 8 characters).
The system shows 12 English words — this is your "master key." If you change devices or forget your password, you need these 12 words to recover.
⚠️ Never share these 12 words with anyone — anyone who has them can access your entire wallet. Write them on paper and store in a safe place. Don't save on your phone or online notes.
MetaMask asks you to arrange the words to confirm you wrote them correctly. Select words in order → Done!
You'll see the MetaMask Dashboard with your Wallet Address (e.g. 0x1a2b...9f8e) — this is your address for receiving registration tokens from Varo.
Open App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android) and search for "MetaMask" — make sure it's by MetaMask (Developer: ConsenSys).
Open the app → Tap "Create a new wallet" → Set Password → Write down the 12-word Secret Recovery Phrase just like Desktop.
MetaMask has a built-in Browser — tap the Browser menu (compass icon) and type registry.varoriya.com to start using it.
📱 For Mobile: Use the browser inside the MetaMask app to visit registry.varoriya.com. Wallet connection is automatic — no extra setup needed.
The system shows a "Connect Wallet" button — click it and MetaMask will popup asking for permission. Click "Connect" to link.
Once connected, your Wallet Address appears on the registration page — upload your file, fill in the details, and click Mint. The system sends the registration token to your wallet automatically.
Normally, Varo requests to add the Polygon Network automatically when you connect. But if you need to add it manually:
Network Name: Polygon Mainnet
RPC URL: https://polygon-rpc.com
Chain ID: 137
Currency Symbol: MATIC
Block Explorer: https://polygonscan.com
How to add: Open MetaMask → Click the network name at the top (Ethereum Mainnet) → "Add Network" → Enter the values above → "Save"
No — Varo covers all blockchain gas fees. You only pay with Varo Keycoin, an internal credit system.
Use the 12-word Secret Recovery Phrase you wrote down to recover your wallet on any device. Click "Import using Secret Recovery Phrase" on the MetaMask login screen.
Yes — the system provides Varo Wallet automatically with no installation required. MetaMask is an alternative for users who want to control their own Private Key.
